Greetings and Welcome to our Parish website.  

It’s wonderful that you have come to visit us through this media format and I hope that you can find the information that you need here.
 
Our Parish is small in nature but we have great resources in the people of our community. We stand on a wealth of history and of those who have laid a solid foundation of faithful service to Christ in the two communities that make up our region.
 
There are not too many parishes that can claim that their Parish School was established by a Saint!  St Mary MacKillop founded St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School just over 150 years ago and we recognise the importance of our school to our community.
 
We welcome you to connect with our Parish and especially in the celebration of Sunday Mass at either St Benedict’s East Brisbane or St Joseph’s Kangaroo Point.

ST PATRICK’S DAY MASS
Archbishop Mark Coleridge will celebrate a special Mass for St Patrick’s Day at the Cathedral of St Stephen at 10.00am on Wednesday 17 March. All are welcome to attend however, due to COVID restrictions, it is essential you register your attendance. Numbers are limited. PARISH LENTEN DISCUSSION GROUP
The parish Lenten Discussion Group continues on Thursday, 18 March at 7.00pm in St Benedict’s Church until 25 March. The discussion group supports each individual’s faith journey through Lent and encourages participants to engage in informal reflective conversations with fellow parishioners about the meaning of Lent and the journey to Easter. There has been some lovely positive feedback about these reflections. All are welcome to our second last evening.
CALL TO ALL CATHOLICS   In February and March 2021, the Archdiocese of Brisbane will be inviting all baptised Catholics to consider their baptismal call to mission through an advertising campaign, the Call To All Catholics.
